Inoculation & med. Care
Generally no inoculations are necessary, but, however, please don't forget the standard inoculation protection such as Tetanus, Polio and Hepatitis A and B. We recommend to effect a travel insurance or to complete
protection or safety package. Before your departure please inform yourself punctual by your family doctor or at your proximity tropical institute about the current regulations and/or recommendations.
The medical supply in Hilongos is sufficient with the “General-" and the "Babtist- Hospital" and as well with numerous physicians.
Medication is freely available and can be acquired in several pharmacies. A small quantity of medication for fast and easy use is available right in the resort. The diving base is also equipped with oxygen, e.g. for obviation after a diving accidents. Serious diving accidents and complicated operations should be treated in the university hospital in Cebu.
